Learn simple techniques and helpful tips to master plant-based versions of your favorite dishes. Vegan potluck follows cooking demonstration. Being a vegan dish or make a contribution to The Table, the food pantry at St. George’s.

Composting is for Everyone. Composting is easy if you follow four simple rules. Jonathan Stevens, Master Gardener & Food Co-op Board Chair, will give a hands-on demonstration and you’ll take away a sample of compost for your garden. Meeting opens with a plant-based potluck. This free lecture is sponsored by the City of Fredericksburg, American Evolution, and the Fredericksburg Food Co-op, as part of Hen Asem, Fredericksburg Area Museum’s year-long program commemorating the arrival of the first Africans to the English colonies in 1619.
