Learn to transform unwanted T-shirts into earth-friendly reusable tote bags. It’s easy, fun, and helps the planet!
Participants are welcome to join our team of volunteers who turn shirts into totes to be offered free to shoppers at the Co-op, The Table, and the Farmers Market.
Bring your scissors and any shirts you have, or we can provide shirts. Shirts should be new or gently used, washed, of cotton material, and adult sizes S, M or L.

Meet in the Fredericksburg Battlefield, Lee Drive, at Howison Hill (the second parking area from the roundabout)
Join us for a gentle introduction to nature’s healing embrace, guided by Kerri Newman-Darrow, an experienced occupational therapist. This immersive journey through the tranquil beauty of the outdoors offers an opportunity to cultivate mindfulness, wellness, and grounding.
Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, or forest bathing, this beginner-friendly hike serves as a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage your senses fully, tuning into the sights, sounds, and sensations of the forest, and experiencing the effects of nature on mind, body, and spirit.
